Short description: The aim of the project is to increase the skills of youth leaders through the acquisition of effective, informal, and "youth-friendly" techniques and methodologies and create a facilitated discussion spree between participating youth workers to share information, data, best practices and knowledge about concepts and principles of youth participation and how to inspire and empower young people to become active at the local, regional and international levels With this aim, we are planning through this LTTC to equip the youth workers with creative methods, tools and instruments, which will help to encourage young people to take initiatives in their local communities and influence on things by using this widely used methods of comic making and storytelling. This will lead to increases in youth participation levels and show the youth that their voices can be heard and they are an extremely important part of society.
This project will consist of two training courses and a local stage between them. The first TC will explore the methodology of storytelling and the second one creation of comics. During the “homework” stage, the participants will need to organize the workshop for the target groups they work with and present the information about the project and storytelling.
